THE LIBRARY
Access to hard facts, latest theories and updated information is absolutely essential for a student’s academic and business success. Our library houses a wide range of books on management & social work education and allied disciplines and also includes an extensive collection of periodicals, national and international journals, magazines and newspapers which help our students to widen the scope of their knowledge.
Social work education makes fruitful use of all the national and international books, which cover various fields of management. The library is periodically updated with new books, which enable our students to gain insight about the dynamics and business social work environment. The library acts as an information powerhouse, providing conducive environment for the creation and nurturing of values.
PLACEMENT CELL

The Placement cell embodies the spirit of the Institute and incorporates its various philosophies in its day to day function. The Placement cell at college of social work co-ordinates all activities related to launching the careers of the students, right from the designing and printing of the Brochure, to managing an extensive Brochure Presentation program in major cities across the country the placement cell does it all !
This cell frequently interacts with the corporate world, thereby developing and maintaining symbiotic relations. It undertakes various activities related to campus placement for final year students and summer training for the first year students.

The Creative Cell, perhaps the most unique students cell’s in the fact that it is not restricted by a set of things to do is allowed to come up with innovative ideas for the all round involvement of the students and the college itself.
SPORTS CELL
Managing games ….
Students, who are under constant pressure to learn and excel, need space and time to relax and reinitialize themselves. The sports cell arranges cricket, volleyball, badminton, table tennis, chess and carom tournament to enliven spirit and enables students to cool off from the hectic schedules.
SEMINAR CELL
Integrating ideas!!!
The millennium holds a lot of promise for application oriented business acumen. Besides, there is also a need for adapting to the dynamism of the corporate world. Taking this in to consideration, the seminar cell has taken upon its able shoulders the added responsibility vital content in college of social works young aspiring leaders.
This cell interacts with CEO’s entrepreneurs, consultants, manager, NGO & professionals from various sphere of business & Social Work who are invited as guest speakers in order to throw light on the subject matter, with a view to change mindsets & broaden horizons.
Social Challenge is the Annual Seminar College of social work, which is held in the month of February, every year. Thus the Seminar cell has been successful in its efforts towards value addition.
CULTURAL CELL
Tune into the essence of life…
We at College of social work have an ethos ” In pursuit of professionalism. We also take care to encourage the development of final qualities which contribute to well rounded personality.”
This ethos is ingrained at a very beginning at the time when new incoming batch goes through the induction program, ” helps program helps the new comers to interact not only with their peers but also the seniors. Induction Programme ends with the time in the Freshet’s party.
The cultural cell is involved in housing intra development competitions doing talent search to find our the inherent skills in the students & helps them practice & polish it. We facilitate the participation of these students in all these major cultural festivals & various intercollegiate events in around Nashik, to develop their latent potential in the fields of dance, drama, creativity management games, organization skills, ect.
Study Tour :
PMIR & LW Department
The study of MSW IInd year held in December month from 17.12.07 to 24.12.07
the student visited Gujarat Industrial area. The objectives of study tour were introduction to new to new industrial area with new trends and practices of HRM & HRD.
The student visited many and variety of large scale Industries in 10 day likes.

3. Alstom
4. Amul
The student visited two educational institute like IRMA Gujarat by visiting to Gandhi nagars, Akshardam Temple.
Village Camp : MSW – I
Village camp for the MSW-I has been organised at Khambale, Tal. Trymbakeshwar. It is situated at a distance of 19 km. from Nashik. It was one of the different curricular activity carried our in the academic year 2007-08. Village camp has been organised fro the first time by the college. It was for 8 days from 12 Dec.07 to 19 Dec.07.
Different activities has been organised for those days which includes gram swacchata, soapit making, wareness generation street plays, guest lecturers, parctical work, shivar pheri map preparatione etc.
The quest lectures on different social issues has been organised including former suicide, attitude development, PRA Role of youth in Sampooma Cyram Swacchata Abhiyan, etc.
All the students from MSW-I have participated actively in each & every activity leered & enjoyed the village camp.
Village Camp : MSW-II
Village camp for the MSW-I has been orgnised at Paith, Tal. Paith, It’s situated at distance of…. km from Nashik. It was one of the different curricular activity carried out of the academic year. 2007-08 village camp has been organised jointly college of social work and medical college. It was for 10 day from 5 Feb to 14 Feb. different activities has been organised for those days which includes survey for health status awareness camp, women’s day Programme, guest lectures, practical work, school’s children’s actives, game, speech, participatory workshop for children.
Guest lectures on different social issues has been organised including personality development, Rang Mansanche, Haldi Kumkum, Medical Camp, Tare Jam in per, Tracing.
All the students from MSW-I has Participated activity in each and every activity, learned and enjoyed the village camp specially student’s has been learned team work, Co-ordination, help, participation, planning, smplomentation, Adjustment and co-operation in the village camp.
